At the moment the business is strictly home kitchen based (cottage foods bakery)


No. It will be gluten free because we are a gluten free household. Keep in mind though we do not charge more because it is GF and any of the customers will tell you that they would never know it was all gluten free if they were not told so.


No. As a pastry chefs and artists we respect others work too much to replicate their art. This does not mean we can't incorporate details of another cake(s) and create personalize design a new perfect for you cake.


Chef Sweet can accommodate any of the following, some can be done in combination if needed ie egg and dairy free: 

  • Dairy free
  • Soy free
  • Egg free
  • Peanut free
  • Tree nut free
  • Corn free
  • Nightshade free
  • Lower sugar
  • Sugar free
  • Ask us about other allergens/ sensitivities you need addressed

** Please keep in mind the above ingredients have been used for other orders. We use precautions to avoid contamination, but we can not guarantee a complete absence of tiny particles of these ingredients  


Cross contamination is possible.


YES we absolutely can!  We can make many of our menu items as smaller sized treat as well as crafting your order with added protein and less sugar.


Note from Chef Sweet: As a person who had Gastric Bypass I know this is THE way to still enjoy desserts and other goodies. 


BI am able to ship anything that is not frosted. Also there is an extra charge shipping anything chocolate covered in the summer months for the cost of the chilled insulation.


Cottage Foods Laws say we can only sell our treats to the end consumer. 

The only way to legally have you carry our  food would be to have a Sweet Spot employee in your store while they are being offered for sale.

OR you can support us by posting a flyer and having some of our business cards handy.


We follow all food handling and cleaning processes. Chef Kimberly holds a food manager certification; as well as a certification in food packaging, pick-up, and delivery. She is also holds a food allergy safety certification as well. It should also be noted that we are bound by the cottage food laws that require only non-hazardous foods be sold which is why you will not see lemon meringue pie or a chocolate panacotta on our menu. 


No, Sweet Spot has a couple of options for you. The standard for our cupcakes is shelf stable buttercream frosting. We can create a sleek look and add a great deal more details with fondant. Do not be afraid of fondant!  The fondant Sweet Spot uses tastes amazing! 


Other decorating options include royal icing details, modeling chocolate, chocolate work, assorted candies, ganache, mirror glaze, or even edible flowers.
